Orders

  • At Genuine Quirk we use Stripe for processing payments as it is a trusted and secure. Stripe accept most major debit / credit cards including Visa and Mastercard. We are also pleased to offer Apple Pay as well as a pay later service such as Clearpay.

  • Most of our orders are dispatched within 1-2 days of receiving your order. Some products are made to order and usually dispatched within 4-5 days. As a small business with only Jamie and Niamh on staff, we kindly ask you to wait the full 5 days before contacting us to request an update on your order. Once we have dispatched your order you will receive your tracking information from Royal Mail.

  • Unfortunately once your order has been placed on our website you are unable to amend your order. Should you want to make any changes please contact us immediately with your request and we will aim to catch this before dispatching your order.

  • We’re sorry to hear that you have waited the 5 days and still haven't received your tracking information. Hopefully we have already contacted you to advise however, if not, please contact us at sales@genuinequirk.co.uk with your order number and we will respond to you as soon as possible.

  • Of course, firstly we are sad to hear our products were not as you expected, so please contact us at sales@genuinequirk.co.uk within 14 days of receiving your order to start the return process. Alternatively you can use the contact form on our website with your order number and reason for return. If your return is accepted you will receive instructions on how to ship your items back to us. You will need to cover the cost of returning your items to us. Items can only be refunded if still in the original condition you received it in, it must be unused and still have all labels and packaging intact. Once items have been received and the refund approved, we will issue an automatic refund within 3-5 working days to the original payment method.

  • You have up to 2 days after you have received your order to report any damages to us that have happened in transit. Please take a picture and email us at sales@genuinequirk.co.uk to report the damage. We will review this as soon as possible and contact you to arrange a collection of the damaged goods. As we care about the impact we have on our planet, we will recycle and reuse damaged goods to produce brand new products.

  • We’re sorry to hear that the item you are after is out of stock. We try really hard to keep our products in stock however with large orders being placed sometimes there can be periods of time when stock is not available. Enter your email address to be notified as soon as we get these products back in stock.

  • Due to the bespoke and handmade nature of the items in our collection there can be small variations in each piece. This is to be celebrated, as it is part of the inherent character of handmade pieces.

Shipping

  • All our orders are delivered by Royal Mail using their Tracked 48 hour service which provides you with email/sms notifications, tracking as well as ‘safe place’ options. Royal Mail aim to deliver your parcel within 48 hours after dispatch.

  • The cost of the delivery for your order depends on the weight and size of your packaged order. We will always try to safely fit and package your order in the smallest box however we will always prioritise the safety of your products as we care that you receive your order undamaged.

  • Unfortunately Genuine Quirk are only currently shipping orders within the UK however, soon we hope to offer our products internationally.

  • If you miss your delivery and don’t manage to collect it from your local depot in time, then it is likely your order will be returned back to us. If this happens, please email us with your order number and we can rearrange to have this sent back to you. Please note that unfortunately we cannot cover the cost to re-deliver your order to you as you are responsible for this cost.

  • Of course, we are located in Finnieston in Glasgow so if you are local or would prefer to collect from our studio, please select the collection option rather than delivery, when completing your order online. We kindly ask that you email us in advance with your order number and when you intend on collecting to ensure that the studio is open.

Sustainability

  • We at Genuine Quirk take a lot of time researching and vetting our suppliers to ensure that they align with our company ethics and morals. All suppliers have to have the appropriate accreditation and paperwork to ensure they meet our standards.

  • We work to a zero waste policy ensuring that any and all products can be reused, recycled or are biodegradable.

  • If you are unsure, please contact us to find out how to properly recycle your products. All of our products are recyclable and can be done at recycling centres or posting back to us when you no longer want it.
